Difficult to follow Islam now?

Many people think that they're lonely and its difficult if they're the only one who practice Islam and the rest of society doesn't. Well these are the dark times we are living in, but we should be grateful that we have the light of Islam and the blessed sayings (hadiths) of the Prophet to motivate us.

The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Whoever establishes an excellent practice  in Islam has its reward and the reward of those who act upon it.” (Muslim)

He also saidWhoever revives my Sunnah is someone who loves me, and whoever loves me will be my companion in Paradise.” [Tirmidhi)]

And he said,  Ahead of you there lie days of patience, during which being patient will be like grasping a hot coal. The one who does good deeds then will have a reward like that of fifty men who do such deeds. They (the companions) said: O Messenger of Allah, the reward of fifty of them? He said: “The reward of fifty of you.” (Tirmidhi)

So lets strive to uphold Islam and practice it, even in the face of opposition, because the reward is great, its the reward of 50 SAHABA! It is the only way we can achieve paradise and reform the people around us. It is the cure of the future and of our people, and proof of this is that the best of societies ever raised was by following the Qur'an and Sunnah.

What more can a person want now? Indeed the ruby is more precious amongst the stones because the ruby is rarer. So too is the believer more precious when s/he is rare.

“Islam began as something strange, and it shall return to being something strange, so give glad tidings to the strangers.” [Hadith: Sahih Muslim]
